  John J. Kendera, 80, Edgar, Croyle Road, Thomas Mills, died Dec. 30, 2004.
  Survived by wife, the former Mary Koreltz; children: John, married to Monica
  Concannon, Johnstown, Mark, Windber, James, married to Leslie Dahlstrom,
  Tiverton, R. I. and Donna, married Dr. James Alexander, Johnstown; two
  granddaughters and numerous other relatives. Member of St. Andrews Catholic
  Church, Benscreek and the Pittsburgh Local 66, Operating Engineers. Marine
  Corps veteran of World War II. Worked for Frank Sheesley Construction Company.
  Retired in 1986, with 34 years of service as a heavy equipment operator and
  self-employed farmer. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrews Catholic
  Church. The Rev. Father Sean Code celebrant. Committal, Thomas Mennonite
  Cemetery, Thomas Mills, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers
  memorial may be given to St. Andrews Church, 1621 Ferndale Ave., Johnstown, PA
  15905. Arrangements in charge of Hoffman Funeral Home, Davidsville.
