Born in Southampton Township Dec. 11, 1907, he was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Shroyer) Kennell. His wife Nettie J. (Kirchner) Kennell, died Oct. 15 1980. He was retired from the B&O Railroad in the Bolt and Forge Shop, Cumberland, Md., with 36 years of service. He was a member of Local 656, Brotherhood of Railway Carmen, and a life member of Kennells Mills Sportsman Club. Surviving are four sons, Earl E. Kennell, William W. Kennell, John A. Kennell and Clyde D. Kennell, all of Hyndman RD 1, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends were received in the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home. Services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Leroy Logsdon. Interment Comps Cemetery. The Republic, June 18, 1987 [K0362]
