  Luella B. "Fatty" Kennell, 84, of Garrett, died April 26, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 30, 1918 in Garrett, daughter of Henry and Hattie
  (Walters) Weaver.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Roy E.; sisters,
  Fannie, Grace, Irma, Reba, Carrie, Jennie, Emma, Catherine, Alice, Edith
  and Pauline and brothers, George, Robert and Elwood.  Survived by daughter
  Shelley J. Glessner, of Berlin and friend Mark Matthews; son Thomas
  Stevanus of North Carolina; and sisters Ruth Tressler of Meyersdale and
  Rowena Glass of Maryland.  Grandmother of Dusty Glessner and wife Tiffany,
  C. Scott Stevanus and Dolise Wilson and great-grandmother of Dylan
  Glessner, Heather, Tiffany and J.C. Wilson.  Retired from Meyersdale Shirt
  Factory, Member of Garrett United Methodist Church, Garrett Firemen's
  Auxiliary and Garrett Legion Auxiliary.  Family will receive friends from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Samuel Weible officiating. 
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  In lieu of flowers, contributions
  may be given to the American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset,
  Pa. 15501.
