Kennell, 79, of Hyndman RD 1, died Monday, March 19, 1990, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 1, 1910, in Fairhope Township, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Rebecca (Emerick) Shroyer. She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren. She was a member of the Calvary Bible Baptist Church, Ellerslie, Md., and the Hyndman Senior Citizens. Surviving are her husband, James L. Kennell; two sons, Robert E. Kennell, Fairhope; and Roy W. Kennell, Hyndman; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth E. Emerick, Mrs. Pauline L. Leister, Mrs. Evelyn S. Corley, all of Hyndman; and Mrs. Ruby L. Moore, Lewes, Del.; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Botti, Wilmerding; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, where services were conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Bible Baptist Church by the Rev. Ken L. Korns. Interment, Comps Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leroy Emerick, Calvin Emerick, Terry Leister, Lorne Kennell, Barry Shippey and Dale Campbell. The Republic, March 29, 1990 [K0367]
