  Dorothy Evelyn (Schrock) Kenney, 87 of Fort Ashby, WV, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at
  the Hampshire Center in Romney. 
  She was born September 1, 1919 in Meyersdale, the daughter of the late John and Bertha
  (Werner) Schrock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
  Clarence Leonard Kenney; one step son, David L. Kenney; and one brother, Elwood Schrock. 
  Mrs. Kenney is survived by two sons: Gary L. Kenney, Shanks; Ronald C. Kenney, Fort
  Ashby; two daughters: Judith Ann Fridley, Cary, NC; Sandra Shanholtz, Romney; one
  brother, Harold Schrock, Grosse Ile, MI; two sisters: Irene Schrock, Meyersdale and
  Shirley Roomsburg, Virginia Beach, VA; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren
  and two great great grandchildren. 
  Mrs. Kenny retired from Hampshire Memorial Hospital in Romney as a nurse's aide. She was
  a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Ashby where she served as
  president of the United Methodist Women. She was also past president of the Fort Ashby
  Volunteer Fireman's Ladies Auxillary. 
  The family received friends at the Shaffer-Warnick Funeral Home in Romney on Thursday,
  February 15, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service was conducted at the Trinity
  United Methodist Church in Fort Ashby on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev.
  Mark Hickman officiating. The family received friends at the church one hour prior to
  the service at 10 a.m. Interment was at the Fort Ashby Cemetery in Fort Ashby.
