Born Feb. 18, 1921, in Gray, son of Frank and Mary (Hudak) Kerch Sr. Preceded in death by parents, two infant brothers. Survived by widow, former Betty June Hardy; son, Larry, at home. Brother of: John, Frostburg, Md.; Mary Fago, New Rochelle, N.Y.; Frank Jr, Somerset RD 2; Michael, Boswell RD 1; Anna Yadvish and Helen Baca, both of Boswell; Paul, Bronx, N.Y.; Charles, Amherst, Ohio. Member of Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Boswell; Somerset Post 554, VFW; Boswell Post 461, American Legion; and USW of A. Retired employee of U.S. Steel, Johnstown Plant. Army veteran of World War II. Due to Orthodox Easter, friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where Parastas will be sung at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by VFW memorial service. Prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by Funeral Liturgy at 2 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, the Rev. John W. Govrusik. Interment, Jenner Crossroad Cemetery.
