Born May 30, 1923 in Boswell, a son of Frank Sr. and Mary (Hudak) Kerch. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, George, Paul and Charles. Survived by wife, the former Sally (Baraniak) and these children, Mary F., widow of George McWalter, Newburyport, Mass., P. Susan, wife of David Flick, Stoystown RD 1, Michael D., married to former Yoke (Wardenier) Boswell, four grandchildren, Angela and Chad Fortini, and Joe Kerch and Gina McWalter. Brother of John, Eckhart, Md., Mary, widow of Ernest Fego, New Rochelle, N.Y., Frank Jr., married to former Helen (Zurvensky), Somerset RD 2, Ann, widow of Andrew Yadvish and Helen, widow of Walter Baca, both of Boswell. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell, USWA and Somerset Post No. 554 VFW. Retired employee of former Johnstown Works U.S. Steel Corp. Navy veteran of World War II. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Because of Feast of Assumption Holy Day, christian burial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Church. Father Hilary Brzostowsky, O.F.M. Conv. officiating.
