Born April 22, 1925 in Allegheny County, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Oswald) Parks. Survived by husband of 58 years, Charles S.; daughter and two sons, Charles T. married to Marcia Smith, Stoystown RD; Joanne, wife of Tom Roland, LaPlata, Md.; and Roger and Leigh Kerekes, Johnstown. Four grandchildren; Aimee (Kerekes) wife of Curt Snelbaker, Adam Kerekes, Chris Cornette, and Kalynn Kerekes; one great-granddaughter Morgan Lees; aunts and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Slosky, and Mrs. Norman Davis and cousin Mrs. John Slosky. Graduate of East Pike Run High School, California Pa. and attended business college in Charleroi. Member of St., Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran; Church, Main St. Boswell where she formerly taught Sunday school and catechism. Also a member of the Knotty Ladies Quilting group and the auxiliary of the China Burma India Basha. Retired clerk for several area district magistrates. Avid reader, loved all Pittsburgh sports, listening to talk radio, and traveling to Basha conferences. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until the time of service 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Church. Larry C. Hoover officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery Jenner Twp.
