  EMMA MARY KESSLER
  
    Emma Mary Kessler, 72, of Houston Street, Somerset, died March 18,
  1982, at Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born Sept. 26, 1909, in Shamokin. She is survived by
  husband, the Rev. Elias Alvin, and these children: Mrs. Robert
  (Arlene) Solano, Oneonta, N.Y.; Miss Joan Kessler, Berlin; Mrs. Carl
  (Betty) Keppen, Beaver Falls; also survived by 16 grandchildren and
  seven great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of Mrs. Mildred Bowers,
  Buck Run; George Zimmerman, Pottsville; Robert Zimmerman,
  Philadelphia; Mrs. Alice Benninger of Shamokin and Mrs. Ruth Neuman
  of Grants, N.M.
    She was preceded in death by children: Harry, Charles and Ruth. 
  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Somerset.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were conducted with the Rev. John Cox officiating.
    Services were held at Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, Pa. 
  Interment, Barry United Methodist Cemetery.
