Born Aug. 10, 1901 in Jenner Township, son of the late James C. and Emma Jane (Berkebile) Keyser. Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Harvey, William and Harry. Survived by his wife, the former Sarah Kathryn Durst; and the following children: Betty, wife of Kenneth K. Custer, Somerset RD 8; Reda R. Keyser, of Doylestown, Ohio; Franklin Paul of Friedens RD 2; and Frederick Saul of Medway, Ohio; four granddaughters; three grandsons and one great grandson. A brother of: Lester of Kantner; Danial of Donegal; Bruce of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Elsie Keffer of Simi, Calif.; Mrs. Eva Mae Forney of Jerome; and Mrs. Marion Koontz of Rockwood. Death ended a marriage union of 55 years. He was a retired UMW of A worker and member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Somerset. Friends will be received Wednesday (today) 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Chauncey Ickes officiating.
