She was born Aug. 26, 1903, in Grantsville, Md., a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lovina (Schroyer) Durst. Preceded in death by parents; her husband, Elvin Dewey in 1978; five brothers and three sisters. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth K. (Betty M.) Custer, Somerset RD 8; and Reda R. Keyser, Akron, Ohio, with whom she made her home for the past four years; twin sons, Franklin Paul, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Frederick Saul and wife Judy, Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, also a stepbrother, Arthur J. Durst, Somerset. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Somerset. Arrangements in charge of the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. No viewing of remains and no flowers as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday June 9 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Douglas Rehberg officiating.
