Keyser Jr., 73, of Keyser Road, Boswell RD, died July 29, 1998, at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 23, 1924, in Jenner Township, son of the late William H., Sr. and Ruth G. (Peer) Keyser. Survived by wife, the former Esther L. Baughman; sister, Mary Jane Gastley, Taylor, Mich.; and an aunt, Marion, wife of Blaine Koontz, Rockwood. Brother-in-law of Glendora, wife of Charles Hochstein, Sr., Johnstown; Dwayne Baughman, married to Betty Thomas, Hollsopple RD; Vaughn Baughman, Latrobe; Edith Dressler, Boswell RD; and numerous other relatives. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ and JOUAM. Former member of the Boswell Volunteer Fire Department, Civil Defense, United Dairy Farmers and the Johnstown Designer Craftsmen. Retired Jenner Township farmer and employed as an oiler on draglines for approximately 10 years. Also, in later years, made toys which he and Esther displayed at numerous craft shows. Graduate of former Boswell High School, class of 1943. Observed 44th wedding anniversary April 18, 1998. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. David E Mishler officiating.
