  John B. Kidd, 78, of Friedens RD 1 died June 6, 1995, at University
  of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh.  Born April 19, 1917, in
  Elizabeth, Allegheny County.  Son of the late John B. and Madola
  (Jobb) Kidd.  Survived by his wife, the former Margaret Smerek; two
  sons: John III, married to the former Mary Ellen Zerek, Dover, Del.,
  and Michael, married to the former Laura Tygarett, Lewisburg, W.Va.;
  grandchildren: Eric, Jessica, Brandon and Seth; a brother, Pete of
  Idaho; two sisters, Alice Johnson, Friedens, and Leanote Bauer, White
  Oak, Pa.  Member of the Somerset Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses
  and a retired truck driver.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday
  with Speaker Jackie Bauer.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
