Kidner, 96, of Meyersdale, died Sept. 9, 2003 at Conemaugh Medical Center. She was born Feb. 27, 1907, in Meyersdale a daughter of the late Bert and Julia Flossie (Sperry) Kidner. She is preceded in death by a nephew, Donald Gallagher. She is survived by these brothers and sisters: Lester Kidner of Las Vegas, Nev., Clarence Kidner of Hot Springs, Ark., Dorothy Timmons, Baltimore, Md., Marian Gallagher, Meyersdale, Vietta Bruton, Sunnyvale, Calif. Nephews, Robert and Richard Gallagher, niece, Marilyn Severson and other nieces and nephews. She was a secretary Kenweg Co., B.O. Railroad and later Meyersdale Community Hospital. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Leckemby Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Joe Onder officiating.
