Kiehl, 52, Friedens RD 2, died Aug. 19, 1987, at Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born March 6, 1935, in Johnstown, son of Martin E. and Elsie (Spangler) Kiehl of Friedens RD 2. Also survived by widow, the former Mary Jane Holsopple; and these daughters: Mrs. Greg (Dawn) Beals, Somerset; Mrs. Stephen (Shelley) Stoltz, Somerset RD 5; and Debbie, fiance of Rex Seese, at home; and granddaughter, Erin Stoltz. Brother of: Ronald, married to Darlene Doak, Mechanicsburg; and nephews, Byron and Darren. Math teacher and advanced computer specialist and coordinator at North Star High School, Boswell. Operated Photography by Wayne B. Kiehl and partner in D.S.A. Computer Consultants. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church. Chairman of Church Administrative Council, Sunday school teacher and trustee. Member of Somerset Lodge 358 F & AM, Harrisburg Consistory and Jaffa Shrine Altoona. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Marlin A. Miller and the Rev. James N. Strohm. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Family requests contributions be made to Shanksville United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
