Kimball, 91, formerly of Somerset, died Dec. 15, 1982, at the Presbyterian Home, Johnstown. Born Oct. 14, 1891, in Dunbar, daughter of the late Clyde D. and Sara Jane Kimball. Also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Survived by a nephew, Edward K. Louden, of Jefferson City, Mo.; and two nieces: Miss Christine J. Kimball, of Bridgeville; and Mrs. Ralph J. Kelly, of Greensburg. She was a graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Md., in 1913. She had obtained her master's at Columbia University in New York. For many years, she was associated with the Connellsville Public School System. In 1935 she became the dean of women at the Indiana State Teachers College, a position she held until her retirement in 1950. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Carl Hull officiating. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown. Daily American, December 17, 1982 [K0487]
