Kimble, 62, of Meyersdale, died April 22, 1983, in Frostburg, Md. He was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Meyersdale RD 3, a son of the late Charles G. and Margaret (Jones) Kimble. He is survived by his widow, Ethel (Ross) Kimble and a daughter, Rebecca, wife of Larry Kirchner, Meyersdale; three grandchildren: David, Bryan and Mark. Brother of James and Kenneth, both of Meyersdale; Charles, Detroit, Mich.; George and Richard, both of Meyersdale RD 3; Ronald and Mrs. Evelyn Musser, both of Meyersdale RD 1; Mrs. Mary Carter, Beaver Falls; and Mrs. Peggy Zimmerman, Salisbury. He worked as a carpenter. He was a member of Amity United Church of Christ; a veteran of World War II and a member of the Charles E. Kelly Post, American Legion. Friends were received in the Leckemby Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. The Republic, April 28, 1983 [K0489]
