Born May 3, 1930, in Lincoln Township, a daughter of Jacob Earl and Alma Pearl (Good) Hemminger. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Eugene Hemminger. Survived by husband, Harry E. Kimmel Jr., to whom she was married 43 years; children, Eric Kimmel, married to the former Barbara Fisher, Clawson, Mich. and Mrs. Walter (Kathy) May, Mill Run; grandchildren, Alison, Hannah and Kyle Kimmel and Kerri and Dustin May. Sister of Roy E. Hemminger and wife, Mary Ellen, Somerset, Clarence Hemminger and wife, Betty, Pulaski, and James Hemminger, Boswell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1948 graduate of Somerset High School. Also a member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church where she was very active serving on the Altar Guild and Women of ELCA. She also was in card club and enjoyed quilting. She had worked at the Pine Grill, and was a dispatcher for GTE, as well as a clerk for American Outfitters until her retirement. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and one hour prior to the church service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Somerset.
