  Blair W. Kimmel, 78, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 1, 1995, in Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 20, 1916, in Somerset County, son of the late
  Jesse and Annie (Theimer) Kimmel.  Survived by wife, Luella (Sarver);
  2 daughters, Beverly J., wife of James L. Woodring, West Lawn, and
  Debra, wife of Dr. John McNamara, Salem, Va.; 3 grandchildren: Susan
  Davis, Reading; Sally Ann Timothy, Havelock, N.C.; Tyler Shields,
  Salem, Va.; 2 great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Jimmy Davis; 2
  sisters, Sara McClaren, Boswell, and Ruth Tall, Somerset.  Member of
  Geiger Church of the Brethren.  Retired in 1981 from Berkebile Oil
  Company.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (today) and 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home,
  where service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Gerald
  E. Deffenbaugh.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
