  CATHERINE B. KIMMEL
  
    Catherine B. Kimmel, 76, Berlin RD 1, died Dec. 72, 1983, at home.
    She was born July 21, 1907, in Stonycreek Township, a daughter of
  Harvey and Belle (Altfather) Glessner.
    She was preceded in death by parents; husband, John J.; son, John
  J. Jr.; two granddaughters, Lois Ann Strawn and Debra Jean Kimmel;
  and brother, Bruce.
    She is survived by these children, Mrs. Maurice (Phyllis) Strawn,
  Bedford; James, married to Joan Friedline, Berlin RD 1; Robert,
  married to Doris Spangler, Friedens RD 2; seven grandchildren; and
  three great-grandchildren.
    She was a sister of Mrs. Harry L. (Marian) Zimmerman, Berlin RD
  1.  She was a member of the Unity United Church of Christ and Women's
  Guild.
    Friends were received at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. 
  Services were held at Unity United Church of Christ with the Rev.
  Walter B. Martin, assisted by the Rev. Ralph E. Mills, officiating. 
  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
