  Clair Robert Kimmel, 69, Stoystown, died June 13, 2005, at his residence. Born
  Dec. 22, 1935, in Stonycreek Township, he is the son of Blanche (Seifert)
  Kimmel, Berlin, and the late Mathias Kimmel. Surviving in addition to his
  mother are his wife of 42 years, the former Gloria Horner; stepdaughter, Rhonda
  Dively and friend Laura Newman, Shanksville; sisters, Ruth Anne, married to Jay
  Kimmel, Stonycreek Township; and Thelma Platt, Somerset. He is a graduate of
  Shanksville High School class of 1953. Veteran of the U.S. Army and was a
  former employee of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
  Family will receive friends today from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m.
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. The Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating. Interment
