Kimmel, 72, of Bedford Heights, Ohio, formerly of Jenner Township, died Nov. 22, 1983, at the V.A. Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio, after a long illness. Born Dec. 12, 1910, in Ankeny, Jenner Township. Preceded in death by: parents; first wife, Edith Mae (Howells); second wife, Marguerite (Vought); daughter, Elizabeth K. Eshelman; brothers: John, Harry, Charles and E. Lloyd Kimmel; and sister, Minnie Morley. Survived by: daughters: Romayne Corbett, Willoughby, Ohio; LaRue Carrothers, Bedford Heights, Ohio; and Cheryl Petrus, Parkman, Ohio; brothers: Robert F., Somerset RD 6; and Blair W. Kimmel, Friedens; sisters: Etheleen K. Speicher, Boswell; Ruth K. Tall, Somerset; and Sarah K. McClaren, Boswell; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He lived in Ohio for 37 years; was a member of Thatcher Lodge Free and Accepted Masons No. 439; retired machinist Eaton Axle Corp., Cleveland, Ohio. Services were conducted in Ohio and shall be conducted at the Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ by the Rev. Joseph M. Beer Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., where an urn containing a portion of the ashes of decedent will also be buried in the cemetery beside his deceased first wife, and to which services relatives and friends are invited.
