  Ethel C. Kimmel, 94, formerly of Stoystown, died Jan. 25, 1993, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 26, 1898, in Ohio.  Daughter of Burton
  and Cora (Kimerer) Miller.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  James R.; daughter Jacqueline K. Lauer; brothers - Wilbur, Alvin and
  Burton; sisters - Vesta Lewis, Hazel Trott and Emma Lykens.  Survived
  by son, James W., married to the former Edythe Stockman, Somerset;
  son-in-law Frank C. Lauer, Wexford; grandsons - James, Barry and
  Gregory Lauer and Douglas Kimmel, and great-grandchildren - Mark,
  Melanie, Jessica and Lindsey Lauer and Douglas Kimmel Jr.  Member of
  Reading Grace Brethren Church.  Family will receive friends from 4 to
  9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will
  be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Robert M. Parker and Rev. Larry
  R. Weigle officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
