  Francis M. "Fluz" Kimmel Jr., 72, Stoystown, died Feb. 8, 2000, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec. 24, 1927, in Stoystown, son of the late
  Francis M. Sr. and Ethel (Barnhart) Kimmel.  Survived by his wife of
  40 years, the former Tillie Conn, and these children: Eli Conn, Mims,
  Fla.; Mark Kimmel, at home; and Trudy, married to Alan Baumgardner,
  Friedens; grandchildren: Lori Clark, Lisa Wiley, Jodi Coyle and Brady
  and Brendan Baumgardner; also three great-grandchildren and a
  sister.  Ruth, married to Pete Jurgevich, Stoystown.  Korean Conflict
  Army Veteran.  Retired from Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown.  Member of St.
  Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown, life-member of Robert P.
  Hite Post 257 American Legion, Stoystown, and Jenner Rod and Gun
  Club.  Member of Somerset V.F.W. Post 554.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the
  Rev. Paul E. Claycomb and the Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating. 
  Interment, Odd-Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Instead of flowers,
  contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 168 West
  Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.  Legion service will be held at 8
  p.m. Thursday.
