  FRANK D. KIMMEL
  
    Frank D. Kimmel, 74, of North Edgewood Ave., Somerset, died May 22,
  1983, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
  Franklin Reese, of New Eagle.
    He was born Oct. 14, 1908, in Johnstown, a son of the late John and
  Virginia (Kimmel) Kimmel.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie, in 1982; and one
  brother, John.
    He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Rodrick (Dolores)
  Whitney, Swanton, Vt.; Mrs. Franklin (Joanne) Reese, New Eagle;
  Allan, of Homestead, Fla.; Mrs. Harris (Kendra) Smith, Hialeah, Fla.;
  10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
    He was the brother of Richard, Rockwood RD 2; Merle, Somerset; and
  Mrs. John (Ruth) Owens, Solaria Beach, Calif.  He was a member of
  Casebeer Lutheran Church, member and past president of the Somerset
  Lions Club, lifelong Democratic party officer and worker, and a past
  state committeeman.
    He was the former owner and operator of Miller Electric Supply,
  Somerset.
    Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral services were conducted with the Rev. George Walton
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
    In lieu of flowers, friends are requested to make a contribution to
  Hospice Volunteers Inc., 1009 Lincoln Ave., Reconciliation House,
  Charleroi, Pa. 15075.
