  KIMMEL
  
  George D. Kimmel, 66, Friedens RD 2, died Oct. 9, 1988, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born June 26, 1922, in Somerset, son of the late
  Alfred E. and Meda Virginia (Mognet) Kimmel.  Survived by wife, the
  former Jacqueline Lambert, and these children: Ms. Georgia A. Maust,
  Somerset; Barry L., Kantner; granddaughter, Melissia A. Maust;
  sister, Mrs. Charles E. (Martha) Thomas, Greensburg.  Member of Faith
  Lutheran Church, VFW Post 554, and Local 110 of the Teamsters Union. 
  Retired salesman for the Marhoffer Baking Company.  Veteran U.S. Navy
  World War II.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10
  a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Charles J. Hartbauer, officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
