  KIMMEL
  
  Harold E. Kimmel, 84, of Berlin RD 1, died May 12, 1998, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 12, 1914, in Stonycreek Township, son of Ellis
  C. and Dillie M. (Snyder) Kimmel.  Preceded in death by parents;
  brother, John J. Kimmel, sisters, Blanche K. Long and Margaret E.
  Kimmel.  Survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Hilda R. Flamm;
  and these children: Ellis F., married to the former Donna L.
  Firestone, and Edna Mae, married to Robert Chappic, both of Berlin;
  grandchildren, Richard and Jeffrey Kimmel, Michael and Melissa
  Chappie.  He was a brother of Ida S. Kimmel, Berlin.  He was a
  retired dairy and crop farmer.  Member of Berlin Brethren Church. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Friday, Rev. Bryan Karshner officiating, assisted by Rev. Carl
  Schwarm.  Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to Parkinson's Foundation or the charity of your choice.
