  JOHN J. KIMMEL
  
    John J. Kimmel, 67, of Berlin RD 1, died Feb. 5, 1975.  Born Sept.
  30, 1907, in Stonycreek Township, he was a son of Ellis C. and Dillie
  M. (Snyder) Kimmel.  He was preceded in death by his parents, an
  infant son and two granddaughters.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Glessner: and these
  children: Mrs. Maurice (Phyllis) Strawn, Bedford; James C., married
  to M. Joan Friedline, Berlin RD 1; and Robert, married to Doris
  Spangler, Friedens RD 2; also seven grandchildren: a brother, Harold,
  and three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Long, Ida and Margaret, all of Berlin
  RD 1.  Mr. Kimmel was a retired Stonycreek farmer and a member of the
  Berlin Brethren Church.
    Funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon in Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, with Rev. Ralph Mills officiating.  Interment was in
  Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
