  KIMMEL
  
  Mrs. Katherine N. Kimmel, 66, Quemahoning Towers, Windber, formerly
  of Boswell, died June 16, 1979 at Presbyterian University Hospital,
  Pittsburgh.  Born Feb 16, 1913, in Bedford County, daughter of James
  O. and Cathryn (Seese) Newcomer.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, James F., who died May 28, 1966; four sisters; and two
  brothers.  Survived by daughter, Carole, wife of Clair Rose, Boswell
  RD 1; two grandsons, James H. and Jan D. Sister of Jerry B. and Mrs.
  Virginia Witt, both of Johnstown.  Member Maple Springs Church of the
  Bretheran, and Circle Three of the church.  Formerly employed at
  Shonberg's Dept. Store, Boswell, and Church of the Bretheran Home,
  Scalp Level.  Friends were received Sunday evening, and will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Joseph G. Hoffman
  Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where services will be held at
  11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Carroll S. Ringgold and the Rev. John Hench
  officiating.  Interment, Maple Spring's s Cemetery.
