Kimmel, 100, of Berlin RD 1, died Feb. 23, 1995, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born June 13, 1894, in Stonycreek Township, son of Orin and Alverda (Stull) Kimmel. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Vesta Carver; son, Delbert; grandson, Delbert Jr., and great-grandson. Also brothers: Jacob, William, Clarence, Mathias and Glenn; sisters: Alice Glessner and Mary Kimmel. Survived by a son, Donald C., married to former Brenda Hall, Moncks Corner, S.C.; daughter-in-law, Kathleen (McClintock) Kimmel of Berlin RD 1; grandchildren: William, Charleroi; Mark, Silver Spring, Md.; Stephen, Washington, D.C.; Donald J., Stafford, Va.; Linda Dennis, Lexington, Ky., and Keith, Berlin RD 1. Also 8 great-grandchildren and a sister, Hazel Eisler, Somerset. Retired schoolteacher and Pa. Turnpike employee. World War I Army veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Charter member of Harry Fisher Post 445, American Legion, Berlin, and founding father of Mountain Field and Stream Club. Family will received friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Melvin A.
