  Lois Kathryn Kimmel, 88, of Somerset, died May 1, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 24, 1914 in Stoystown a daughter of John Nevin
  and Ruth May (Smith) Stern.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Clair Woodrow Kimmel who died Sept. 4, 1970, sister Margaret Kimmel
  and brother John W. Stern.  Survived by children: Mrs. Rev. Dwight
  (Sandra Ruth) Huseman of Gettysburg; two grandchildren, Leigh Anne
  Hamilton of Mt. Airy, Md. and D. Alan Huseman of Haymarket, Va.;
  great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Huseman.  Sister of James D. Stern
  married to the former Edith Overbeck of Washington Crossing, and Mrs.
  Geraldine Kovack of Somerset.  Also numerous nieces and nephews. 
  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  A 1930 graduate of Stoystown High
  School.  She worked for a number of years in sales for the former JC
  Penny Company in Somerset.  She also volunteered at Patriot Manor in
  Somerset.  No viewing or visitation.  Service will be conducted 1
  p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church Chapel, Somerset with the
  Rev. Susan H. Yatta officiating.  Interment Stoystown IOOF
  Cemetery.  Please omit flowers.  Contributions may be made to
  American Cancer Society of Somerset, 168 W. Union St. Somerset, Pa.
