Kimmel, 73, of Lambertsville Road, Stoystown, died Oct. 22, 1999 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born March 27, 1926 in Bedford County, a daughter of Edna (Diehl) Speicher of Somerset and the late Clarence E. Speicher. Preceded in death by husband George L., son Gordon who was killed in the Vietnam War and sister Janet. Survived by sons Richard J. married to the former Marie Shroyer, Timothy A. and Robert S., all of Stoystown. Grandchildren Christopher R. Kimmel married to the former Amy Ginter, Larissa and Hanna Kimmel and very special friend Cletus Emeigh of Berlin. Retired from Jamesway, Somerset. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville, Stoystown Lioness Club, Shanksville Area Silver and Gold Senior Citizens, Mountaineer Homemakers and Stoystown Homemakers. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Richard T. Carter. Interment, Lambertsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Stoystown Lioness Club in care of Dolores Deaner, PO Box 314, Stoystown, Pa. 15563.
