  KIMMEL
  
  Mathias R. Kimmel, 81, of Berlin RD 1, died Jan. 1, 1986, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born April 1, 1904, in Stonycreek Township, a son
  of Oran and Alverta (Stahl) Kimmel.  Preceded in death by four
  brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.  Survived by his wife, the
  former Blanche Seifert, and these children: Mrs. Delma Platt, Berlin;
  Clair, married to the former Gloria Horner, Central City RD 1; and
  Mrs. Jay (Ruth Ann) Kimmel, Berlin RD 1; eight grandchildren, one
  step-granddaughter and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Lester,
  Berlin RD 1; and sister, Mrs. Hazel Eisler, Somerset.  Retired from
  the Pa. Turnpike Commission as a supervisor in Allegheny Tunnel. 
  Charter member of the Mountain Field and Stream Sportsmen's Club,
  Roxbury; and attended Trinity United Church of Christ, Roxbury. 
  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where services will be
  held at 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Robert L. Hoffman officiating. 
  Interment, Downy Cemetery.
