  Matilda Jane Kimmel, 87, Somerset, died Aug. 11, 2001, at Siemon's
  Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.  Born Sept. 28, 1913, in Somerset, a
  daughter of Harvey Walter and Lucy Mae (Barndt) Shaulis.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Calvin Fredric Kimmel, who died March 18,
  1998; an infant daughter, Sara Jane Kimmel; brothers Orlando, Harry
  and John Shaulis; and sisters, Stella Shaulis and Ruth Miller. 
  Survived by these children, Jack A. Kimmel, married to the former
  Jacqueline Simmons; David D. Kimmel, married to the former Judy
  Latshaw; Roland J. Kimmel, married to the former Kristi Bowlin and
  Thomas E. Kimmel, married to the former Vivian Geisel, all of
  Somerset; Timothy C. Kimmel, married to the former Sandra Lizza of
  Connellsville and Jonathan L. Kimmel, married to the former Anne
  Martz, and Ruth Ann, wife of Martin O. Siemon III, both of Somerset;
  18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Judge Norman
  A. Shaulis of Somerset and Mrs. Paul (Thelma) Gardner of Berlin. 
  Member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Cardiac Club, Women's
  Missionary Society and AARP.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and from 11 a.m.
  until the time of service at noon, Tuesday at Bethany United Methodist
  Church.  Rev. Barry K. Ritenour officiating.  Interment in Bethany
  Cemetery.  Contributions may he made to Bethany United Methodist,
  Church, 204 W. Bakersville Edie Road, Somerset, Pa., 15501, or the
  American Heart Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, Pa., 15928.
