(Leichliter) Kimmel, 73, of Ligonier, died May 4, 1994, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born Jan. 3, 1921, in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, a daughter of the late Lee and Nancy Graham Leichliter. Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Ligonier, the Ft. Ligonier Chapter of the DAR, the Friendship Bridge Club. Past member of the OES of Ligonier and Somerset. She was retired from the former Jim Walter's Corp. of Somerset, where she had been a controller for over 20 years. Mrs. Kimmel was also preceded in death by her son, David E. Tosh, in 1988. Survived by two sisters, Mrs. John H. (Betty) MeKlveen of Ligonier and Mrs. Gilbert (Nancy Gail) Lenhart of Fairfield Township; one brother, William L. Leichliter of Greensburg; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Pat (Elaine) Ryan; a granddaughter, Gail Tosh of Syracuse, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McCabe Funeral Home, 244 W. Main St., Ligonier, with the Rev. George Umphlett officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 200 W.
