Kimmel, aged 82, died in the Windber Hospital, Dec. 20th, after a prolonged illness. He was employed for a long time by the Lorraine Steel Company in Johnstown, but was forced to give up his position several years ago because of advancing years. Then he moved to Berlin. Since the death of his wife, (Julia Musser) several years ago, Mr. Kimmel lived with his children. He was at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Stuck, when his fatal illness was contracted. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Robert Stuck, of Berlin; Mrs. Mary Stull, of Stonycreek Township; Mrs. James Stuck, of Acosta. Eleven grandchildren, a brother, Z. T. Kimmel, of Berlin, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Ringler, of Stonycreek Township, also survive. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Robert Stuck, followed by interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rev. H. D. Gress officiating.
