Kimmel, 90 of Berlin RD 1, died March 9, 1987, at Siemon's Lake View Manor. She was born July 17, 1896 in Stonycreek Township, a daughter of Ira G. and Sydney (Walker). She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Elton Carver; and a sister Mrs. Ollie Pile. She is survived by her husband Lester H. to whom she was married for 69 years; two sons: Donald C., married to the former Brenda Hall, of Moncks Corner, S. Carolina; Delbert I., married to the former Kathleen McClintock, Berlin RD 1; seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Ivy Glessner and Mrs. Alma Friedline, both of Siemon's Lake View Manor and Mrs. Ruth Pile, of Maugansville, Md. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church; life long member of Harry Fisher Post No. 445; American Legion Auxiliary, Berlin. Friends will be received Thursday 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday with the Rev. Charles J. Hartbaurer officiating.
