Born May 30, 1897 in Turtle Creek, son of Fred and Mary (Crosby) Kimmick. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Gladys E. Bulmer, who died Oct. 30, 1983; several sisters and brothers. Survived by these children: Dr. Walter E. Kimmick, Boswell RD 2; and Patricia [ ]irkley, Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Brother of Naomi [ ]der, Turtle Creek. Army veteran of World War I. Retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Corp. East Pittsburgh. Played professional baseball approximately seven years with the Cincinnati, Philadelphia and St. Louis organizations. Friends invited to memorial service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, July 30 as part of morning worship at Lighthouse Christian Church, Woodlawn Ave. (Moxham) Johnstown.
