(Spot) King, 80, Smith Nursing Home, formerly of Gray, died Dec. 26, 1976 in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 18, 1896 in Hooversville, a son of Joseph and Minnie (Rogers) King. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Mae Mock, and five brothers. Survived by two sons, James, Johnstown RD 4; and Clyde, Champion RD 1; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Ethel Spangler, Ohio. Retired coal miner and World War I Army veteran. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Charles R. Deaner, Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Larry Weigle officiating. Interment, Oddfellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
