His death resulted from heart disease. He had been residing with his cousins for some time and had been taking treatments in Pittsburgh, to overcome the condition from which he suffered. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Charles Kessler, Confluence; two brothers, Kenneth and Grover; one sister, Dolores, all at home, and his aged grandfather, Harrison G. King, Confluence. Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Old Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of Mills and Mickey, Rockwood morticians. Meyersdale Republican, January 8, 1942
