  KING 
  
  Clyde E. King, 70, of Red Bird Lane, Champion, died July 29, 1998 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 5, 1928 in Stoystown.  Son of the late
  Arthur and Mabel (Mock) King.  Preceded in death by wife Helen. 
  Survived by daughter Kathryn A. King, Champion; step-son Eli Conn,
  Florida, and three step-grandchildren.  Veteran of the U.S. Navy
  serving in World War II and Korea.  Member of VFW Post 554 in
  Somerset.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday.  Rev. Greg Gohn officiating. 
  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
