    KING
    
    James S. King, 78, of Durham, N.C., formerly of Markleton, died
  Dec. 14. 1999.  Born and raised in Markleton.  Son of late Martha and
  Samuel King.  After serving in U.S. Army during World War II, he
  married and settled in Durham.  Former member of Old Bethel Church of
  Markleton.  Preceded in death by son, Frankie.  Survived by wife;
  Kathleen; daughter, Jackie Szaflorski, Chicago, Ill.; sisters Betty
  Baker and Mary Trimpey and brother Warren P. King, all of
  Markleton.  Also number of nieces and nephews, many of Markleton.
