King, 75, of Ursina, died July 30, 1978 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Dec. 6, 1902 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Harrison G. and Elmira (Hampe) King. Preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Saylor; and a son, Blair E. Survived by a foster daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Rugg of Sharon; also two grandchildren: Barbara Bowers and Clifford E. King, both of Ursina; also five foster grandchildren: Loretta Thomas of Ursina; Roger, Terry, Bill, and Greg, all of Sharon; four great-grandchildren: Jason and Jared Bowers and John W. and Dan King. He owned and operated King's Esso Station in Ursina for 25 years. Friends will be received after 7 p.m today, Monday, at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Harrah Anderson and the Rev. Roy C.
