King, 92, Machesney Park, Ill., formerly of Meyersdale, died Oct. 7, 2005, in Rockford, Ill. Born Sept. 7, 1913, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Louise (Lottig) Sturtz. Also preceded in death by her husband, Elwood W. King; two brothers, Albert Sturtz and Ellis Sturtz and a sister, Althea Lowery. Survived by her son, Robert L. King and his wife, Saundra, Machesney Park, Ill., brother, Carl Sturtz, Akron, Ohio and sister, Geraldine Eger, Pittsburgh; also two grandchildren, Robin and Kirk and seven great-grandchildren; a special niece, Judy Hall, Murrells Inlet, S.C. and numerous other nieces and nephews. A member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren and was retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Eric Shaulis officiating.
