    MRS. SAMUEL KING 
    
      Martha A. King, 85, of Markleton RD 1, died Oct. 24, 1973, at the
  home of her daughter, Mrs. Betty Baker.  Born March 10, 1888, she was
  a daughter of Isaac and Mahala (Growall) Firestone.  She was preceded
  in death by her husband, Samuel King and two children.
      Surviving are the following children: Melvin King, Mrs. Elizabeth
  Younkin, Mrs. Betty Baker, Park King, Mrs. Freda Metheney, Mrs. Ruth
  Trimpey, Mrs. Alice Miller, Mrs. Mary Trimpey and Ray King, all of
  Markleton RD 1; Mrs. Olive Woods, Confluence RD 3; Mrs. Lola Conway,
  Warren, Ohio; and James King of Durham, N. C.; also 69 grandchildren,
  120 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral
  service was held in Old Bethel Church at Kingwood on Saturday
  afternoon with Rev. Paul Tobias and Rev. Douglas Baker officiating. 
  Interment in the church cemetery.
