King, 71, of Markleton School Road, Markleton, passed away April 25, 2002 at home. Born Jan. 1, 1934 in Casselman. Son of the late Melvin and Mary Catherine (May) King. Preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughters, Lucinda and Lucretia Warrick. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Henrietta "Shirley" (Sanner) King and these children: Wendy, married to Thomas, Zeller of Stevensville, Md.; David, married to Patricia (Sipe) King of Addison; Nancy, married to Edward, Miner of Mill Run; Roger, married to Sandra (Knieriem) King of Markleton; Tracy, married to Kenneth Sanner of Markleton, and Kelly, married to Marty Zerfoss of Rockwood. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is the brother John King, Paul King, Shirley Albright and Mary Alice Johnson, all of Markleton, and Sheldon, Dale and Everett King, all of Rockwood. He was a retired employee with 30 years of service of Keystone Lime in Springs. He was a member of the Appalachian Wagon Train Association, the Horse and Mule Association and a former member of the Wheelers and Dealers Square Dance Club. He was a former Black Township supervisor and a volunteer worker at the New Centerville Firemen's Farmers' and Threshermen's Jubilee. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Milton Morris officiating.
