  KING
  
  Stanford T. King, 77, Boswell RD 2, died Feb. 1, 1985, at home.  Born
  Feb. 20, 1907, in Normalville, Fayette County, son of John and Sarah
  (Johnson) King.  Preceded in death by parents, daughter Dolores and
  son Jay.  Survived by widow, the former Margaret P. Hemminger; and
  these children: Carl, married to the former Marie Custer, Boswell RD
  1; Hilda, wife of William Vallies, Jerome; Mrs. Alberta Blough,
  Somerset; Janet, wife of Charles Slough, Hollsopple; Mrs. Charlotte
  Warner, Somerset; Denver, married to the former Eleanor Deafer,
  Laughlintown; Ray, at home; and Lorraine, wife of Michael Lapp,
  Jerome; 32 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.  Brother of
  Catherine Lavern Fletcher, Trenton, N.J.  Celebrated 58 years of
  marriage Jan. 27, 1985.  Was a retired coal miner, and last employed
  at Rolling Rock Farms.  Friends received from noon until 9 p.m.
  Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service
  will be held 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes.  Interment,
  Beam Cemetery.
