KING Dr. Wilbert Allen King, 50, of Herndon, Virginia, formerly of Alexandria, Va., and Windber, died April 20, 1980 at his home. He was born January 14, 1930 in Pennsylvania, son of William and Hannah (Beba) King, both whom survive and reside in Windber. He is survived by his widow, the former Phyllis Broeseker of Brothersvalley Township; two children, Lesli Ellen and William Judson King, both at home; a brother, Robert King, Johnstown; and a sister, Mrs. Jean Anne Wilson, of Johnstown. Dr. King was a Music Professor at George Mason University and was a veteran of the Korean War. The King's were owners of "Mountain Brook Farm", Berlin RD 3, which was the former residence of the late Karl L. and Laura (Dickey) Broeseker, parents of Mrs. King. Viewing was held in Virginia and at the Meek Funeral Home, Inc., Windber. Funeral services were held April 25 at the Mt. Zion (Hay's) United Church of Christ, Meyersdale RD 4. Interment, Hay's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wilbert A. King Music Library Memorial, Foundation, in care of George Mason University.
