Born May 23, 1937 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township. Son of William James Rush and Leora Magdaline (Faidley) King of Rockwood. Survived by wife the former Ellie Delorse "Sis" Gary to whom he was married 42 years; children: Jerry W. King married to the former Julia Fisher of Somerset; Jeffrey W. King married to the former Donna Fleegle of Somerset, and Jenny L. King of Rockwood, and three grandchildren, Levi, Skylar and Alexis King. Brother of John M. King married to the former Pam Ansell of Rockwood. A 1955 graduate of Somerset High School. Former member of Pa. Army National Guard from 1956-1964. Retired truck driver for Ryder Trucking for Fleetwood Folding Trailers. Attended Scullton Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Member of New Centerville and Rural Volunteer Fire Department, Lodge 358 F & AM, Somerset County Shriners Club and Somerset County Jeep Club. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Boyd E.
