Jr. 12/31/05 Daily American Friday, December 30, 2005 Patrick J. Kinsella Jr., 80, Somerset, formerly of Baltimore, died peacefully at home in Somerset on Dec. 30, 2005, at 1:45 a.m. surrounded by his wife and all his children. Born Aug. 19, 1925, in Baltimore, son of the late Patrick J. Sr. and Mary Ann (Moran) Kinsella. Preceded in death by brother, James Kinsella; sisters, Rita Eltz, Katherine White and Carmelita Knoble. Survived by wife of 54 years, Ruth (DeJarnette), formerly of Essex, Md.; and six children, Paula Michels, Bowleys Quarters, Md.; Patrick J. Kinsella III, Michael D. Kinsella, Jennifer Yoder, Daniel Kinsella and Mary Cotter all of Somerset County. Also survived by sister, Margaret (Peggy) Boyle, Baltimore; as well as eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Patrick is a World War II veteran with 38 years of voluntary membership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, particularly Post 2621 of Essex. Patrick was also a long time member of the American Legion in Essex. He retired to Somerset with his wife Ruth to be near his children and grandchildren. Friends and family to be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 until time of service at 6 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. The Rev. Forrest Walker of New Hope Community Church of Jenners officiating. Interment 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gardens of Faith, Baltimore.
